Emirates A380 at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI)

To mark the launch of a new terminal 3 at Indira Gandhi International Airport Emirates Airline became the first international carrier to operate a special Dubai-Delhi flight and the aircraft which had flown from Dubai was the talk of the town. The world’s best airline bought the world’s largest commercial aircraft, the Airbus A380. The schedule time of arrival of the flight EK516 was 1450hrs but because of heavy rain and thunder storm the aircraft arrived at 1530hrs.The aircraft was at IGI for three hours and it left for Dubai at 1750hrs as flight EK517.
